Drug Take Back Day

April 30 2022

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, April 30th from 10 am to 2 pm! This year's Take Back event will feature 48 public "Drive Up and Drop In" collection sites throughout the county (including three in Middletown Township at St. Mary Medical Center, Giant Food 168 N. Flowers Mill Road, Langhorne, Giant Food 4001 New Falls Road, Levittown). Simply pull up to the drop off location, place your unused, unneeded or expired medications into the box and drive away.

In addition to prescription medications, law enforcement officers will be collecting over-the-counter and pet medications, vitamins, vaping products and more. Plus, seven sites throughout the county will be collecting medications and sharps and distributing Narcan on April 30th! This means that you will be able to drive  up, drop off your unused, unneeded or expired medications and sharps and receive one unit of Narcan (while supplies last) (the three sites in Middletown will not be collecting sharps or giving out Narcan). Visit Take Back Site Locations for site locations and what's accepted!

(Can't make it to Take Back Day? You can still safely dispose of your medications at one of the collection boxes located in Bucks County Police Departments. Find a box near you Take Back Box Locations .
